Course Description

Event Outline

This event will provide a comprehensive overview of tendon management, beginning with a foundational understanding of tendon anatomy and how tendons respond to injury. Participants will learn the ‘Golden Rules’ of tendon rehabilitation, which highlight the critical role of progressive loading, patience, and individualised care in successful outcomes. Additionally, the session will explore adjunctive treatment options, encompassing both medical management and conservative tools like shock wave therapy, to enhance and expedite the healing process.

Speaker – Daniel Morgan FRCC (Sport)

Daniel is a Chiropractor, registered Sonographer and Injection Therapist and has a specialist interest in Tendon Management. Most notably, Daniel has lectured internationally in the Shock Wave Therapy field, and it was this involvement that sparked his interest in Tendon Management and the common mishaps and misconceptions we often encounter when it comes to tendon management. Daniel is currently involved in professional sports and works with Scarlets Rugby in the URC and is primarily responsible for providing the players with both Ultrasound investigations and Chiropractic care.
