Course Description

Join us in Palermo, Italy! This 12 hour course will explore the connection between brain and body and how Chiropractors can help more patients with a range of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions.

This 2-day live course has been meticulously crafted to explore the neurological influence and causation of spinal conditions that commonly present to a Chiropractors office. Our goal is to equip practitioners with a profound understanding of the neurophysiology and evidence linking poor brain function with spinal conditions.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Carlo Rinaudo, a renowned chiropractor, researcher, and educator, all participants will delve into the latest evidence-based clinical neuroscience. This course will empower you with advanced techniques and protocols for managing neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, considering spine, TMJ, eye movements, vestibular, sensorimotor integration, and advanced neuromodulation therapies.

The course encompasses a rich and diverse curriculum, from understanding spinal control neurophysiology and scoliosis neurophysiology to mastering proprioception and sensory discrimination. Explore the role of primitive reflexes in spinal control, dive deep into the influence of oculomotor function, and learn about innovative therapies including galvanic stimulation and vibration.

Dedicated to revolutionizing the approach to spine health, this course will redefine your understanding of the complex interplay between the brain and spinal conditions. Join us and learn how to elevate your patient outcomes with brain-based therapies.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Over the last 10 years, research has shown both an association and causation of various sensorimotor integration dysfunction in the development of poor spinal and body function. These include proprioception, vestibular, oculomotor, primitive reflexes and cortical regions as been involved.

This 2-day seminar will explore the ‘brain and body’ connection as relevant to Chiropractic. Many common and complex conditions are the result of poorly calibrated sensorimotor systems. This disconnection between brain and body is often overlooked in Chiropractic care, yet should be a foundational piece of the underlying cause. The focus will be on how to integrate clinical neuroscience and applications from both a diagnostic and management perspective.

This seminar is loaded with clinical gems and useful applications to better evaluate and offer brain-based therapies to improve patient outcomes.

The seminar is for:

  • students, new graduates to experience practitioners currently using a range of techniques and approaches
  •  the practitioner looking at improving their results with patients suffering poor balance, chronic spinal pain, recurrent joint injuries, dizziness, as well as anxiety
  •  practitioners seeking a blend of clinical neuroscience, research, and a hands-on workshop developing skills in applications and management of a range of neuro-musculoskeletal conditions .

What you will learn?

After completing the course, you will be able to learn:

  • the neurophysiology of sensorimotor integration (brain and body connection), including vestibular, visual, proprioceptive, sensory discrimination, autonomic and auditory processing
  •  the effects and contribution these systems have on many neuro-musculoskeltal system that present to the Chiropractor, including chronic pain, poor balance, poor body awareness, anxiety and stress, scoliosis and more
  •  how do primitive reflexes influence the sensorimotor system and how they can uncover underlying causes
  •  a ‘tool-kit’ of easy-to-use assessment and treatment protocols to ‘re-calibrate’ patients brain and body connection
  •  How Chiropractic care enhances brain function with an understanding of clinical neuroscience to provide you with more certainty in care and communication
