Course Description

A 2-day hands-on seminar to become a better chiropractor!

What you will learn:

A new approach to fast and lasting restoration of joint function. Adjusting to Neutral is an easy adaptation of our HVLA Chiropractic methods that recalibrates the intrinsic spinal musculature, addresses spinal segmental instability, and improves range of motion. This hands-on seminar starts from a deep review of ideal cervical biomechanics and joint motion control; then examines the changes following trauma. In this workshop, you will acquire tools to palpate and accurately describe the vector of instability and alteration of the axis of rotation of each joint. With this capacity, you will be able to direct your adjustments to precisely resolve the spinal muscle imbalances, improve joint stability and restore proper joint biomechanics.

The course has been designed to empower all participants to gain the knowledge and skills to confidently treat cervical and lumbar joints with Adjusting to Neutral techniques following this weekend.

This series goes to the core of our neurological controls and allows the practitioner to fix the deepest issues in the nervous system. Understanding the complexities of vestibular system has been incredibly difficult up to this point however Dr. Jake Cooke will give you simple and precise tools to be able to see how these common problems typically present in your clinic and open up the path to directly resolving them. In this technique seminar we will be practicing looking in each others core neurologic issues and directing our practice of the Adjusting to Neutral techniques specific to those needs. This technique is incredibly precise and having the ability to direct it’s benefits to the deepest issues will allow you to make a profound change in your patient’s spinal balance, strength and resilience. Dr. Russ Hornstein will focus on Cervical and Lumbar HVLA adjusting. Any chiropractor with HVLA adjusting skills will be able to learn the technique in the weekend and be able to use it on Monday morning. Supportive material will be provided as well as access to the lecturers for any questions or guidance following the seminar. Be sure to check out the other Adjusting to Neutral seminars for greater depth and application of diagnostics and treatment with this powerful technique.

Dr. Russ Hornstein is a Chiropractic Neurologist with 25 years experience and a strong focus and training in vestibular rehabilitation, head and eye movement disorders and neuro-orthopaedic rehabilitation. His career has been highly dedicated to understanding and accurately assessing spinal biomechanics as well as a quest for the most effective tools in resolving poor joint function. Over the last four years he has developed a new HVLA method called ‘Adjusting to Neutral’ which does not require locking out the joint at the end range yet is proving to resolve joint dysfunction precisely, quickly and with greater comfort to patients.

Dr. Jake Cooke
Managing a patient suffering from pain and dizziness can be challenging and stressful. They look to you for answers. Understanding how the brain controls movement, balance and posture gives you the skill to provide them. However, learning neurology has traditionally taken hundreds of hours of CPD, much of it not applicable to your practice or patients. I have condensed that information into a understandable, usable and realistic seminar series. Providing you with skills to manage your patients with confidence and expertise
