How to upload a CPD event for accreditation
Thank you for providing valuable CPD opportunities for ECU members.
If you are a new CPD provider, you will need to register before you can upload your CPD event. Please visit Education > CPD providers.
Note: the CPD seminar submission and accreditation timescales can be found at The EAC Timescales for Seminar Submission and Seminar Accreditation Process
If you are already a registered CPD Provider, you can upload a course by accessing your CPD provider account.
- Navigate to Seminars from the left side bar
- Select Add New Seminar from the dropdown, or from the top of the page:
Completing the event details
In the ‘Add New Seminar’ editor, please provide the following information:

- Please Include:
-
- Course presenters – names, qualifications, and relevant achievements.
- Course content – topics covered, learning outcomes, or key skills delegates will gain.
- Timetable – specify lecture hours, practical hours, or provide a detailed schedule.
- Recommended background reading – resources to help delegates prepare for the course.
-
Further down the page, you will be asked to enter:
- Location, date, and time of your CPD event.
- CPD points/credits – this should equal the total hours of delegate learning (lectures, practical sessions, webinars) and must exclude breaks, lunches, or social activities. Half points/credits (0.5) may be used to represent 30 minutes of learning.
- Organiser contact details – please provide the name and email of the event organiser in case further information is required.
Submitting your application
When your application is complete:
