Peter will explain the background of the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE). He will outline his involvement with NICE as a Fellow, discuss the production of Technology Appraisals, Clinical
Knowledge Summaries and Guidelines, and explain the impact NICE can have on the chiropractic profession.

Speaker – Peter Dixon FRCC
Peter graduated from AECC in 1984 and has practiced in Bath and Wiltshire for 38 years. He has served as President of the BCA, ECU and as Chair of the GCC. He has been Chair of the Board of Governors of AECC
and, as BCA President, he was involved in establishing the chiropractic programme at WIOC in South Wales. He was founder, and served as President of the RCC between 2014 and 2020. More recently, through SPCE, he has been involved in the establishment of chiropractic programmes at London Southbank University and Teesside University. Peter was appointed as a NICE Fellow in 2019.
