EVENT OUTLINE
Discover the latest insights into spondyloarthritis in this informative and engaging online webinar presented by Jack March, The Rheumatology Physio. In this one-hour session, we will explore the symptoms, demographics, pathophysiology and investigations for suspected axial and peripheral spondyloarthritis.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Understand the pathophysiology of both axial and peripheral spondyloarthritis
• Screen for and recognise the symptom presentations of spondyloarthritis
• Utilise clinical reasoning to assess for and refer suspected spondyloarthritis
• Learn the demographics of people with spondyloarthritis and how this affects clinical reasoning
• Utilise screening tools to aid in decision making
• Understand the specific investigation requirements for spondyloarthritis
SPEAKER – Jack March
Jack March is a Physiotherapist, content creator, educator and podcaster. He qualified in 2008 from Plymouth University and, after rotational posts, settled into Rheumatology which he has made his speciality since
2011. He has given seminars, lectures and full day courses on Rheumatology subjects mostly covering the topics of recognition, investigation and management. These have been aimed at Allied Health Professionals but also attended by medical staff. His current roles include Rheumatology Clinical Lead for Chews Health and Operations Director of Chews Media, which incorporates The Physio Matters Podcast Team.
