This presentation will explore the MR imaging and clinical presentations of patients with lumbar radiculopathy.

Understand/recognise:
- updated disc herniation terminology
- imaging presentation and management of disc herniations
- discogenic pain and annular tears and their pain patterns
- the less common causes of lumbar radiculopathy and their management
Speaker – Inger Roug FRCC
Inger Roug is 1989 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Iowa, USA. She subsequently earned her diplomate of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology from Logan University College of Chiropractic,
Missouri, USA. Inger lectured at three chiropractic universities in North America between 1999 and 2014 and, since 2015, is a chiropractic radiologist and senior lecturer at AECC-UC. Inger has authored several peerreviewed research and case report articles in the chiropractic and biomedical literature. In addition to classroom teaching, Inger worked from 2003-2014 for two MR Imaging centres in the Atlanta, Georgia, USA, where her main caseloads were MRI and CT imaging of the spine and extremities. Inger is a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractors and Higher Education Academy. In 2018 she earned her Pg.Cert in Medical Ultrasound from Bournemouth University.
