EVENT OUTLINE

Falls are the second leading cause of accidental injury and death worldwide. 1 in 3 people aged 65 and over will fall each year. Chiropractors are well-placed to identify, manage and prevent falls before they cause significant injury and disability to our patients.

SPEAKER

Jake Cooke is  one of the few chiropractors in Britain to have passed the American Chiropractic Neurology Board exams. Jake currently works in a dedicated chiropractic neurology practice in London and as part of a multidisciplinary team helping patients to recover from severe traumatic brain injury. His main area of focus is fall prevention and balance.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Learn a quick and easy assessment for identifying those at risk from falls.
• Learn simple rehab techniques you can use in clinic and patients can perform at home.
