Royal College of Chiropractors CPD event – Exercise is medicine: Barriers and solutions to successful implementation
Start: 3rd February 2021 @ 19:00pm
End: 3rd February 2021 @ 20:00pm
Online , England
This webinar will explore the concept that exercise is medicine and that as a public health crisis all health practitioners have an obligation to actively promote physical activity to improve overall health in their patients. Physical inactivity has been called the biggest public health problem of the 21st century as too many people across the globe fall below the minimum activity levels required to maintain good health. The webinar will review the current physical activity guidelines and focus on why implementation is a challenge for all primary contact health professionals and specifically the issues related to the chiropractic profession. The webinar will also provide practical solutions to overcome the barriers associated with implementation using visual examples and clinical reasoning to provide practical evidence based solutions.
