Course Description
Webinar Outline
This webinar will explore how neurology links pain, mobility and performance. Rather than providing a lesson on neuroanatomy, the speaker will discuss how changes in neurology present clinically and how you can purposefully use neuroscience to affect your patients outcomes.
Learning Outcomes
- How to know whether your patient is likely to respond quickly or slowly to treatment.
- How to test whether your patient has peripheral or central pain sensitization.
- Understand how neurology links pain, mobility and performance and the steps needed to reserve its negative impacts.
- Learn what is missing from your current assessment.
Speaker
Jake Cooke is one of the few British chiropractors to have passed the American Chiropractic Neurology
Board exams and is currently undertaking a masters in MSK neuroscience. His areas of interest are how
the nervous system controls movement, balance, posture and pain. His clinic is located in Woking,
Surrey, where he only sees patients with chronic pain or dizziness. His goal is to take the latest
developments in neuroscience and make it relevant and clinically applicable.
