EVENT OUTLINE
There really is a place for chiropractors in elite sport, but we can’t wait for job adverts, we must create our own opportunities. So how do we do this? In this seminar, Nick will explore some of the habits, skills and attributes of others who work in professional sport. He will show you a pathway from volunteering at your local amateur club to working with professional athletes, as well as advice on improving your management of athletes. This seminar is perfect for those who are looking for more opportunities in sport, or those who are simply looking for ways to improve their management of sports people in their clinics.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- How to see more athletes both inside and outside clinic.
- Ways to adapt your history, examination and report of findings to suit your athletic population in clinic, inside and outside of clinic.
- Tips on improving your assessment and treatment tool box to suit your athletes.
- Advice on increasing your networking opportunities with others in sports medicine.
- Ways to stay current in the fast moving field of sports medicine.
