Speaker: Elisabeth Davidson FRCC (Paeds) owns a busy multidisciplinary clinic in Aberdeenshire. She graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1994 with a BSc (chiropractic) and a post graduate diploma in chiropractic (DC) in 1995. She gained an MSc in Advanced Chiropractic Paediatric Practice in 2007 also from the AECC and she is a Fellow and Secretary of the Royal College of Chiropractors’ Pregnancy & Paediatric Faculty. Originally from Denmark, she has lived in Britain since 1990. She teaches post-graduate seminars in chiropractic care of the pregnant pelvis, neonatal examination and growth & development of the toddler. She is currently conducting research into pelvic girdle pain.

Learning Outcomes include:

  • An awareness of the role of MSK problems in infants and mothers with breastfeeding difficulties
  • An understanding of the barriers to breastfeeding
  • An understanding of how to assist in diagnosing and managing breastfeeding difficulties
