Speaker: Amy Miller BSc MSc

Amy is a chiropractor based in Christchurch, and she completed her MSc Chiropractic (Distinction) at the AECC in 2016. Her MSc project led to the development and testing of the UK Infant Questionnaire, the first validated parent-reported outcome measure for infants in chiropractic care. Amy has been involved in the AECC breastfeeding clinic for three years, and is now undertaking a PhD with Bournemouth University investigating the role of this clinic in student education and breastfeeding outcomes.

Learning Outcomes include:

• An awareness of the role of MSK problems in infants and mothers with breastfeeding difficulties
• An understanding of the barriers to breastfeeding
• An understanding of how to assist in diagnosing and managing breastfeeding difficulties
