Course Description

Before a study can be conducted, a researcher must decide on the best way to test their hypothesis. Choosing an optimal study design is a major component of successfully conducting a research study. This presentation will explain the many different study designs available and what types of questions can be addressed by each. The featured article will critically appraise the key manuscript of vertebrobasilar stroke and the unique case-control study design.
