Course Description

During this course, attendees will learn how to conduct efficient searches for peer-reviewed literature that addresses a particular research topic. The presentation will focus on the use of PubMed with highlights from other free resources. The featured article will introduce attendees to a chiropractic focused systematic review with a focus on the literature search, including limitations and how those limitations could impact the outcomes of the study.

1. Explain the key functions within PubMed to conduct efficient searches.
2. Discuss the impact literature searches on the research question
3. Appraise the featured articles.
4. Describe research question components within the featured articles
