Course Description
In this 90 minute interactive online seminar, you will discover the key role that communication plays at work. You will learn that, while technical expertise in your profession is paramount to success, it’s not enough. You need to be able to put your patients at ease, make them feel comfortable and trust you enough that they feel confident that you will be able to help their physical ailment. To do this you must understand your patients’ psychological needs and be able to fulfil them. This online seminar teaches you how to do this. It also helps you to deal with any complaints should they happen, and even how to turn a complaint into a win.
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
• Understand the benefits of communicating effectively with patients
• Know the strength of their current communication skills
• Recognise the psychological needs of a patient
• Fulfil a patient’s psychological needs
• Turn complaints into a win
On Monday morning, delegates will be able to:
• Feel positive about the role of communication at work
• Appreciate the psychological needs of their patients
• Know simple techniques to put patients at ease and win them over
• Understand how to handle complaints effectively
