Course Description

The practice of the future will continually add tools to the treatment “toolbox”. These tools will include an evolution of assessment and treatment that explores breathing, movement and balancing naturally occurring human asymmetries. These new approaches are state-of-the-art for rehabilitation, durability and sport performance. The FMS is used as a screen to assess basic movement patterns. PRI is a more sophisticated and comprehensive approach to assessment and treatment of the human body that provides a deeper understanding of neurology, respiration and biomechanics. PRI integrates the diaphragm and breathing into every portion of this 21st century discipline. Once a solid foundation is provided that teaches a patient or athlete to manage their inherent asymmetries, functional training can then be introduced. This will be a “hands-on” weekend with lecture and participation by attendees. Wear comfortable casual or gym type clothing.
