Course Title: GEN-C presents Common Skin Diseases with Relevance to Chiropractors
The course consists of three lectures introducing you to the current literature in common skin diseases. The lecture includes how to describe and recognise common skin complaints, when to refer, as well as if the skin complaint could affect your treatment plan for manual therapy.
At the end of the course, the learner should be able to:
1. Describe and start to recognize the most common skin diseases.
2. Categorize the most important skin diseases in contagious or not contagious.
3. Assess the warning signs that warrant referral to secondary skin care.
4. Analyse the impact of a common skin disease towards their differential diagnosis.
Following completion of the lecture, you will be directed to 10 multiple choice questions. Upon successful completion of these questions you will be emailed a CPD certificate for 2 hours (or 2 points).
