ECU Online Series 2021: Movement Patterns and Motor Performance in preschool children

This module will give the viewer a short introduction to markerless motion capture and exemplify how we use this new technology to explore movement patterns and motor performance in preschool children. We will explore the movement pattern DKV.

By the completion of the module, the practitioner will be able to:

1. Knowledge of movement variability in preschool children
2. Knowledge about the movement pattern Dynamic Knee Valgus in preschool children performing jumps. Its prevalence, as well as age and sex-differences.

Steen Harsted is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics and has 15 years of clinical experience from primary practice. His research focus is mainly on biomechanics and motion capture.
