Course title: CLINICAL RADIOLOGY REVIEW: SESSION 1

Format: LIVE ZOOM WEBINAR
Topics: An introduction to a logical approach to plain film radiology differential diagnosis and lesion description will be presented, followed by an organized categorization of osteopathologies with examples of assorted studies to be discussed in a rounds/audience participation format
Learning outcomes:
At the end of this session, the attendee should be able to:
– identify the categories of osteopathology as they pertain to radiological assessment
– apply a logical, sequential approach to plain film x-ray interpretation
– acquire increased confidence in plain film differential diagnosis
– better understand how to incorporate the use of a chiropractic radiologist as a consultant
The lecture is presented by: Dr. Marshall Deltoff
Marshall Deltoff, DACBR, FCCR (Can), FEAC, is a 1983 honors graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He has over 30 years of academic, clinical and regulatory experience, having performed and read over 140,000 plain film x-ray examinations. He is the co-author of The Portable Skeletal X-Ray Library, a textbook of radiological bone diseases, as well as several book chapters, manuscripts and research papers. Marshall has served as the President of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the regulatory body for over 5,000 DCs in that province. Currently, he is Professor of Radiology at Barcelona College of Chiropractic, and manages Images Radiology Consultants, an online x-ray reporting service for colleagues worldwide.
