LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
Dr. Marshall Deltoff, DACBR, FCCR(C) Radiology review course:
This 6 hour presentation, offered in three 2-hour segments, is intended to review important, clinically relevant radiology topics for the practising chiropractor. With emphasis on consistent communication both between doctors, and between the doctor and patient, ie. using accepted descriptive terminology and proper record keeping in the differential diagnosis of diagnostic imaging studies.
A wide variety of conditions and pathologies will be presented, representative of common and rare presentations. Emphasis will be on assessment of the spine, such as scoliosis, spondylolisthesis and stenosis. The unfortunate situation of non-accidental paediatric trauma and the doctor’s legal obligation to report suspicion, a topic not often discussed, will be addressed.
