WEBINAR CONTENT:

The webinar will cover basics of how tinnitus works, how chiropractic might help patients who are suffering from it and how to collaborate with ORL-H&N physicians and audiologists for the patients’ best interest.

The attendees will have the opportunity to listen to an ORL-H&N physician (MD, ORL), an audiologist and biomedical engineer (BME) and a chiropractor (DC, CCSP). The first two will share what they do with patients with tinnitus, from diagnostics to treatment. The chiropractor will explain which types of patients with tinnitus respond well to chiropractic, which do not and why, based on his 15 years of experience. He will suggest how to assess and approach the issue and what are the red flags. He will simulate a clinical assessment and explain what’s the best way to collaborate with ORL physicians and with audiologists.

Finally there will be some case reports and patients testimonials.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The webinar goals are for chiropractors to familiarise with tinnitus, to assess it, to determine if chiropractic can help and to collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the patients’ best interest.
