AECC Summit

Meet up with your course mates, speak to tutors and staff both new and old, learn something, engage with our wider alumni community and see how AECC University College is thriving.

Alumni returning to AECC University College can take part in a selection of daytime activities and tours, including breakfast networking with the Principal and other senior members of staff, to exciting talks and demonstrations (speakers names to be announced).

9.30am – Registration
Guest will be welcomed onto Parkwood Campus via the main building reception. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided in the refectory.

10.00am – Brainfood for Breakfast
Informal breakfast networking session, attended by Principal, Professor Haymo Thiel, Executive staff, Heads of Schools and members of our Students’ Union.

11.00am – Campus Tour 
Tours of Parkwood Campus led by Students’ Union.

11.30am – Panel Talks (EAC Accreditation 1 hour)

Future of Healthcare and Interdisciplinary Practice

12.30pm – Lunch
Prosecco and lunch will be provided in the Refectory. Feel free to use this time to network and catch up with friends and colleagues.

1.30pm – Campus Tour
Tours of Parkwood Campus led by Students’ Union.

2.00pm – MRI Tour
Led by Professor Alan Breen, interested parties will be shown around our on-site, Open Upright MRI Scanner.

2.30pm – Campus Tour
Tours of Parkwood Campus led by Students’ Union.

3.00pm – Ultrasound Demonstration

3.30pm – 4.30pm – Plenary Session (EAC Accreditation 1 hour)

7.00pm – Dinner and Dance
Hosted at the luxurious and elegant Hilton Hotel, Bournemouth. You will receive Prosecco, or a soft option, on your arrival.

You can look forward to a three course meal, and a chance to reminisce, catch up and party the night away. Enjoy live music from the supremely talented Soulstar band, who will keep you on the dance floor until you’re all boogied out.

8.00pm – Alumni Recognition Award
The Principal will present the Alumni Recognition Award.

12.00pm – Event concludes.
We’ll send you home with an AECC University College souvenir, an amazing alumni experience, and a lot of new memories to cherish.
