Module 7.
In module 7 with Jake Cooke, we return to the clinical world. Specifically, the often confusing area of differential diagnosis of upper extremity pain and numbness. Is it radicular pain? Is it referred pain from other tissues? Is surgery indicated or is conservative treatment preferred? Jake will take us skilfully through the differential diagnoses and explain the underlying pathophysiology of these very common conditions that all of us will encounter on a weekly basis
Jake Cooke, MChiro, MScAPP, DACNB, graduated from the AECC in 2009 and passed the American Chiropractic Neurology Board exams in 2014. He’s recently completed a Masters in MSK Neuroscience with a focus on chronic pain and dizziness/ balance disorders. Jake’s goal is to make neurology simple and useful, not only for the weird and wonderful cases, but for every patient you see in practice. Neuroscience helps us to understand and explain what our patients are experiencing and how to help them. Neurology doesn’t need to be a complex subject, full of hard to read and remember words and pathways. It can be taught in a way that is easy to learn and apply.
Afterwards: check your knowledge with the 10 multiple choice questions and earn 1.5 CPD points accredited by the European Academy of Chiropractic. This module is slightly longer than the previous 6 (55 minutes) and so earns you 1.5 CPD points. Simply visit eacacademy.com, register as a member or access your account and enrol on the courses!

Crucial for any clinician that deals with chronic pain patients.
