ECU LOCKDOWN SERIES: JAMIU BUSARI – INTERPROFESSIONAL COLLABORATION

Cooperation, communication and joint decision-making are key to interprofessional collaboration in our healthcare systems, for the good of our patients and the quality of care. So too are the coordination of services and resources, shared responsibility, autonomy, trust and respect. Dr Jamiu Busari, Associate Professor of Medical Education at Maastricht University, Consultant Paediatrician and Dean HOH Academy, Haratio Oduber Hospital, Aruba, concludes the ECU Lockdown Series with his views on the need for more interprofessional collaboration in healthcare.
