ECU Congratulates Jan Hartvigsen
The ECU congratulates Jan Hartvigsen on being appointed Knight of Dannebrog by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. The Knight’s Cross can be awarded to Danes and foreigners for meritorious civil or military service, for special efforts in art, science and business or for working for Danish interests.
Jan Hartvigsen is one of the world’s leading researchers in pain and disease in muscles and joints with a focus on the spine and was a leading researcher behind a landmark report on back pain, which was published in the prestigious journal The Lancet.
